New Student Regent Appointed for The Texas A&M University System

COLLEGE STATION – Anthony Cullins of Dallas, former student body president of Texas A&M University-Commerce, has been appointed by Gov. Rick Perry as the newest student regent for The Texas A&M University System. Only the third student regent to be so named since the governor directed the state’s public universities in 2005 to include nonvoting student regents, Cullins begins his duties June 1.
Dr. Tammy Beckham Named Director of Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory

COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents on Wednesday named Dr. Tammy Beckham as director of the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. The Board of Regents made the announcement following a telephonic meeting. Beckham was selected as the sole finalist for the position at the March Board of Regents meeting.
Dr. Brett P. Giroir Named Vice Chancellor of Research
